End of Day Four

End of Day four and we've destroyed a lot! From Tearing down wall paper in the bathroom, to scraping All of the popcorn ceilings, to sanding down the cabinets, to taking down nearly all of the light fixtures, to mirrors coming off the walls, and to clearing off the balcony, it's been a busy few days. We've still got another three weeks of work to do including ripping out the tile and replacing it. Tearing out the bathroom sink and adding a new one along with an addional sink. Bathtub replacement or re-glazing. Texture coating the ceiling. Finishing off the balcony and patio. LOTS and LOTS of Painting. And Finally CLEANING and Moving in!

The Condo!

We're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, in purchasing our first place. We locked in our interest rate today and are another few weeks away from the final John Hancock's and the illusive key! Here are some of the photos we took on our last visit. We've got lots to do before we move in! I'll add more photos after demolition day and as the re-construction begins! :)

Shannon and Jeff's Wedding!

Matt topped off 2009 with an Olympic length Triathlon in Orange County. He then started 2010 with a 100 mile "Centurion" bike ride in Palm Springs, with Patrick McNeely,

a friend of ours.

All the while I got stuck working out my hiney muscles in physical therapy and had to decided against running the the LA Marathon this year. :( Luckily Shannon decided that she found the love of her life and wanted to plan a wedding! She "hired" me on as her wedding coordinator and by the pure grace of God, and lots of willing, helping hands the whole day turned out beautifully! Above are a few of my favorite photos from the beautiful day. Matt was the wedding photographer so props to him on these lovely shots! Oh yeah, and I took the few photos from their "engagement photo session."
