June 7th we did the Camp Pendleton 10k Mud Run in San Diego. Cousin Jen was there running it with a team. It was a little over-night, pre anniversary, getaway and another chance to see what our bodies are capable of. Way more walking was involved than we had hoped, due to my knee acting up. And some of those hills were pure evil. All in all it was a good day topped off with a little Wienerschnitzel as a reward for our hard work. Come on, we were carb loading for our next endurance trip up to half-dome.
