Matt's 40th

I forgot to post these in February when the party actually took place. But here are a few of the Photos from Matt's 40th birthday Grumpy Old Man Shin dig. We celebrated with a Photo scavanger hunt/Great race event course. The party goers arrived in the wee hours of the moring dressed in the latest old man wear.

The first stop was to a donut shop for breakfast, where the three teams had to complete a “all about Matt” crossword puzzle.

Once complete they were sent off to Zuma Beach where my friend Stephanie awaited there arrival. Each member from their team was sent out into the ocean for a bit of a Polar Bear Swim... or run.

Next the team was sent to a driving range in Simi Valley where they had a "drive off" Closest team to the pin competition. After my friends Amy and Raelynn anounced the winner they were off to the next event.

They arrived at Harley's Bowl in Simi Valley for mini Bowl off. Lots of disorder insued. Here my friend Kirsten sorted out the disorder and crowned a winner.

Lastly they were sent to a local park for a domino contest. Once completed they were sent back to Granda Hills where they met up in the morning. The other halfs of all the men were there along with a handfull of other friends who couldn't make the morning portion.

All the while the guys had spent time collecting photos of a list of scavanger hunt ideas I had created. Still awaiting copies of the images. I may add them one day. Some pretty funny picks came out of that crazy day.

The guys got back, I counted points and a winning team was named and rewared with both honor, title and tropies.

All around fun time with some great guys. Most of whom showed up unaware of what the day would hold, but more then willing to shower Matt with their friendship on his 40th Birthday!
