End of day 12

End of day 12 and more destruction. We went back and forth for the last week about the tile replacement. Kind of a, should we or shouldn’t we thing. “The tile they have in here is fine and all. Do we really want to add that job to the list too?” After seeing a great sale on a tile, we both liked, at Lowes. And an unfortunate incident with a hammer, we opted to dive in. Sadly for Matt, yesterday was nearly the last of the demolition days, all we have is carpet left to tear up. The tile is now up, bathroom cabinet is out, fireplace barren. With all the tearing apart it’s great that there was also some rebuilding or replacing. Matt learned a new skill as he shot the walls and ceilings with an orange peelish texture, only one more coat to go! The cupboards have begun to be primed the doors and drawers have all been primed and have their first coat, of the dark brown paint we decided on. The ugly blue walls have all been primed. The funky patch work wall has been primed. And Painting will commence this evening!
