No luck getting the bathroom sinks in this weekend. Looks like it will be another week or so. But we did have Dad and Matt getting a lot done with the tile. Now for the grouting!
The walk-in closet and the laundry closest got a fresh coat of paint along with the kitchen. We still need to do some cutting in with the paint in all three rooms along with the dining room and bathroom. But the highest peak of the ceiling and the beam is done. As seen by my death defying acrobatics on the banister and ladder, Sorry Mom (try to overt your eyes from those photos). And yeah, another slap on my hand from my Foreman brother in law, for standing on the highest rung on the ladder.
Speaking of Jeff. He put in the lovely recessed lighting in the kitchen. And put up the fan in the dining room. His better half Shannon, was over at our place helping me get my head on straight last night and helped me get to packing.
After she left Matt and I, headed back to the condo to start putting the kitchen cabinets together and to drop off our first two boxes of Hollis stuff, kicking off the move-in stage.
I won’t be over there again till Sunday due to a busy week and the run on Friday. So the next group of photos will be added early next week some time. Hopefully we'll have a lot of big changes. I also hope there wont be as many tools laying around in the next bunch of photos!
